"Although there may be nothing new under the sun, what is old
is new to us and so rich and astonishing that we never tire of
it. If we do tire of it, if we lose our curiosity, we have
lost something of infinite value, because to a high degree it
is curiosity that gives meaning and savour to life."
-- Robertson Davies
Anything that we haven't see and encounter yet are new to us, although they are already existing long time ago. But the nice thing is that, anything that are new to us gives new experience and delight. The experience of happiness can't be bought by any amount, we will only appreciate it because it's priceless.

No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars
"No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars, or

-- Helen Keller

We waste time looking for the perfect lover
"The bottom line is that (a) people are never perfect, but
love can be, (b) that is the one and only way that the
mediocre and vile can be transformed, and (c) doing that makes
it that. We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead
of creating the perfect love."
-- Tom Robbins
Love is perfect but not the lover. This line will relate the humanness of man as being, one who is looking for perfect love but not the lover who does it perfectly. In looking and aspiring for perfect, one must learn and practice to do it in his life. We must learn to do and demonstrate perfect love not only to people but also to things and animals that are around us.

Yesterday is a dream, tomorrow but a vision
"Yesterday is a dream, tomorrow but a vision. But today
well-lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness, and
every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well, therefore to this
day."
-- Sanskrit Proverb
The only way that we can go back to yesterday is by dream, things and time that are already gone can only be encountered and retrieve again through dream. Tomorrow is not only a vision but it is the coming reality. Today is what separates us from yesterday a dream of happiness, sometimes we want to repeat what had happened yesterday but only in dream that we could go back and refresh what had happened. But do not nail ourselves to the past, let us proceed with the passing of time, to experience every moment that we have in our lifetime. Cherished the privileged given to us, let us live everyday happily.

Envy can be a positive motivator
"Envy can be a positive motivator. Let it inspire you to work
harder for what you want."
-- Robert Bringle
It is natural and normal that we get envy to others especially to those who are moving up. But what is not good for envy is when we think something bad against our fellow who is striving and sacrificing to move up. Envy is good if it will serve as motivator for us to strive and get better. May every feeling of envy be a factor to help us perform and do better.

Live with our dreams
"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live,
remember that."

We always dream and dreaming, but remember that dream is an inspiration, it's not yet the reality. In other point, our mind is always focus on future, and we live on future that we neglect the present situation and reality of our status. Sometimes we are not certain, if we are living in the future or at present.

Grasp your opportunities
"Grasp your opportunities, no matter how poor your health;
nothing is worse for your health than boredom."
-- Mignon McLaughlin
There are times that we use our health as excuses in not accomplishing projects. But don't be negative, always take the positive side no matter what, do it first before concluding that you can't. Experience the joy of having something better accomplishments.

You can do what you have to do
"You can do what you have to do, and sometimes you can do it
even better than you think you can."
-- Jimmy Carter

Everyone will begin
"Everyone who got where he is has had to begin where he was."
-- Robert Louis Stevenson
The usual procedure in a beginning is we start from the bottom and moving upward. Sometimes we will start from a scratch then moving on to a more complicated situation. But often that we're afraid to move forward once that we found out something a little better, but the real reason why don't move is that, we're afraid to start and face another obstacles and problem. In every little and big effort we exert, there is a corresponding reward, big effort has bigger reward and little has small. Dream big and achieved more.

Welcoming imperfection
"Welcoming imperfection is the way to accomplish what
perfectionism promises but never delivers. It gives us our
best performance and genuine acceptance in the family of human
-- and by that I mean imperfect -- beings."
-- Martha Beck
What forbids us to perform is our cowardliness to commit mistakes. We're afraid to commit mistakes in a performance, and we don't know that in having mistakes we learned. Best performances arrived in having more mistakes. So forgive and accept our imperfections.

"A smile is a curve that sets everything straight."
-- Phyllis Diller
A smile is a sign of approval, good mode, and peasant feeling. But if the smile is negative, it is not approval but hatred, it is not good mode but uneasy feelings, and not a pleasant day but a day with trouble. A true smile will benefit the one who has it, and much more the one who see and accept it.

The purpose of life is to be useful
"The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful,
to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some

No times that we didn't aspire to be happy, unfortunately happiness won't exist for long, there is eventually sadness that will come to take its place. In order to live well and be useful, we must be honorable, compassionate, and having a difference when they compare us. Living well must be achieved in the presence of sadness and happiness.

Beware of undertaking too much at the start
"Beware of undertaking too much at the start. Be content with
quite a little. Allow for accidents. Allow for human nature,
especially your own."
-- Arnold Bennett
When we are in a hurry to move up, we take so much responsibility and opportunity that we could not carry, then at the middle of our journey we put them down one by one because we can't take them for long, they serves as burden. Take only what are essential, select what is best for us and leave the rest for others. Control our greedy nature that will put us down when we can't manage them. Don't look at others, examine first ourselves.
